Old Treasury Building

Old Treasury Building

Forming an integral part of the $580 million Cathedral Square upgrade, the 35 storey office tower is situated adjacent to the heritage listed, 135 year old Treasury Building in the heart of the CBD. It features 30,000m2 of office space including the new judicial chambers for the WA Supreme Court. Targeting a 5 Star Green Star rating by the Green Building Council Australia, the property is designed to achieve a 4.5 Star NABERS Energy Rating.

The awarded construction package included construction of the service access tunnel, the interface with the adjoining car-park, the superstructure for the 35 storey office tower and the five storey annex building located between the tower and the adjacent Perth Town Hall.

A complex project from commencement through to completion, our works package included concrete placement and pumping, formwork and perimeter safety screens from sub-basement level to the roof.

Our Certified Engineer and Construction Management team were involved in the early design stages, offering innovative construction design options that served to fast-track the project programme without compromising safety. Once out of the ground, this structure rose skyward in record time.

Crown Construction Services are proud to have been involved in this high rise project constructed on the landmark Old Treasury Building site in Perth Western Australia Central Business District.
