Yagan Square was part of the State Government’s Perth City Link Project which connects William, Wellington and Roe Streets via a host of retail outlets, bars, cafes, public open space and play area.
Yagan Square, located in the arms of the Horseshoe Bridge, recognises one of the Noongar People’s great leader-warriors. Yagan was a Whadjuk Noongar man, who gained both fear and admiration for his courage in resisting take over settlement of his land by the early European settlers.
Our works package included minor earthworks, steel-fixing and complex formwork designs.
Crown Construction Services, appreciates the historical and cultural significance of this site and was proud to be associated with this flagship project. Practical completion was achieved in 2017
