Dedicated Health & Safety Personnel
Crown Construction Services employs a dedicated Safety Manager to ensure our operations comply with relevant state and federal Health and Safety Legislation. The safety of our employees takes precedence and is documented in our HSE Plan, which outlines clear health and safety roles and responsibilities for all personnel. Our Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) are formally trained and receive ongoing internal training and support in their role.
Our Health & Safety Implementation
Crown Construction Services has developed a robust health and safety management system consisting of comprehensive policies, plans and procedures to assist with compliance to legislative requirements. Our health and safety policies and procedures are well documented in our comprehensive Health, Safety and Environmental Management Plan. Crown Construction Services’ HSE Plan ensures all levels within the organisation are educated in our health and safety policies and procedures and are able to implement these in all aspects of their work.
Our HSE Plan includes these Targets and Objectives:
All new employees must attend the interactive Company Safety Induction
All employees receive the Crown Safety Handbook prior to attending a worksite. The handbook is a condensed version of our Health Safety and Environmental Management Plan and must be kept available on site by the worker for ongoing reference.
Employees must attend a daily Pre-Start Meeting and Weekly Toolbox to client requirements.
Site Leaders, including Site Supervisors and Leading Hands, must conduct a documented daily HSE inspection, ensuring all corrective actions are tracked until closed out.
Senior Managers are obligated to conduct documented monthly Project HSE Inspections in consultation with frontline employees.
